Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An international scientific workshop on "Online vacancies in the context of Big Data digital labor market data" was held in Milan, Italy.

The event was organized within the framework of the 4th Platform of the Eastern Partnership Program, jointly organized by the European Commission, European Education Foundation and the University of Bicocco in Italy.

Our country was represented by the head department of the Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Mammadova, including a delegation of experts from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and State Statistics Committee at the workshop.

During the meeting, experts from the University of Milan - Bicocca provided detailed information on the methodological and architectural solutions they offered to collect and process around 200 million online vacancies from websites and other open sources.

At the last session of the event, a preliminary roadmap of the project "Production of labor market analytics through Big Data" was developed based on the questions and submitted to participating teams from countries.
