Leading scientific worker of the Institute of Architecture and Art, Honored Architect, PhD in Art, Rena Afandizadeh was awarded the Order of Labor 2nd degree by the Decree of the President dated November 28, 2019 for her contribution to the development of architectural art in Azerbaijan.

A celebrate architect is the initiator of a number of apartment projects. She is also an author of more than 50 works on architecture and urban planning in Azerbaijan and Baku, including 5 monographs. In 1979, R. Afandizadeh was awarded the title of “Honored Architect” of Azerbaijan, badge “Sharaf” in 1986, and the Order of “Shohrat” in 2000.
