The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the institute for academic affairs, Dr. gepgraphy Elbrus Alizadeh, who spoke about the successful continuation of the process of attracting young people to science, the special attention paid by the government to young scientists and researchers. E.Alizadeh, describing the importance of improving the scientific potential of young people to promote their work to a variety of scientific fields, organizing a high level of funding for projects and programs, said that during the last meeting of the Presidium of ANAS October 17, 2013, was decided to establish the Council of Young Scientists and researchers. Associate of Department of "Landscape and Landscape Planning" of the institute PhD in geography

 was elected chairman of the Council of young scientists and specialists , which consisted of 30 people, the vice-chairmen – associate of “Geography of the population” department,

. Finally, chairman of the trade union of the institute PhD in geography
