On June 20, writer-publicist, an honorary journalist, Vasif Samadov and PhD in political sciences Rovshan Valizade’s “Leyla Aliyeva:” Justice for Khojaly “( New strategic model against Armenian terror)” three-volume work was presented “Four Seasons Baku” hotel.

Members of Parliament, representatives of ministries and committees, international organizations, embassies, academics and intellectuals, representatives of the media participated at the meeting.

The event was organized by Institute of Human Rights, State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, “Justice for Khojaly” international campaign of propaganda and “Caspian Izvestia” International Information Agency.

Co-author of the book Vasif Samadov opened the event and emphasized the importance of preparation and presentation of the book till International Refugee Day: It is remarkable that, the book is presented in this day. Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons lived in a difficult time, he noted. The author noted that, while collecting material for the book they had established close contacts with relevant UN agencies, and used archival documents.

“Justice for Khojaly” calls is a new strategic model for fighting strongly against international terrorism. The presented books will help to produce the necessary results in the future and to understand the great importance of the this model, V. Samadov lined out.

Then deputy prime minister Ali Hasanov made a speech and named Khojaly tragedy as one of great genocides of the twentieth century. The tragedy gained out political assessment as a result of national leader Heydar Aliyev’s and he had an important role in promoting genocide. President Ilham Aliyev has given decrees associated with the genocide. Under to Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva’s leadership “Justice for Khojaly” campaign made the world community to get more information about the genocide, A.Hasanov spoke out.

Director of the Human Rights Institute, PhD in philosophy Ayten Mustafayeva, employee of the Institute of Literature, a member of the Federation of Philosophical Societies, Professor Raid Ulusel stressed the importance of the event.

It was reported that, “Leyla Aliyeva:” Justice for Khojaly “( New strategic model against Armenian terror)” three-volume work was dedicated to 5th anniversary of “Justice for Khojaly” campaign and evaluation of performance of the campaign in national, regional and international levels.
