Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Academician Asaf Hajiyev delivered a lecture at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences at the invitation of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians on 15 January 2020. In his speech, he presented the latest discoveries in the field of probability theory and mathematical statistics created by Acad. Kolmogorov and information on Kolmogorov's work in this area.

The event was attended by President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Academician Julian Revalski, director of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, academician Veselin Drenski, President of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians academician Nikolai Nikolov, academicians Nikolay Yanev, Petar Kenderov and others. At the end of his speech, Asaf Hajiyev was awarded a special certificate of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians.
