Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

For the first time, Institute of Economics of ANAS has developed the Quality of Life Index based on a comparative assessment of the quality of life in economic regions, cities and administrative regions of the country.

The study covers 8 economic regions of the country and 61 cities and administrative districts subordinate to the republic. The quality of life of economic regions, cities and administrative regions of Azerbaijan is grouped into 7 sub-indices and is based on 31 indicators.

This study not only assists to solve important scientific and theoretical issues, but also has important practical value. The research results are useful in making practical management decisions on the socio-economic development of the country's regions.
