Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has donated early medieval ceramic vessel to the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

According to the director of the museum academician Naila Velikhanli, the vessel was presented to the President by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in the IV Summit of Caspian states on September 29, Astrakhan.

The vessel was discovered underwater archaeological expedition, who worked in the Baku bay in the 30th years of the last century.

N.Velikhanli expressed gratitude to the President for consideration. She noted that the exhibit will be placed in the museum.
