Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A paper by the head laboratory of the Institute of Biological Resources of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS Varis Guliyev, was published in the American journal “Cytology və Histology” last year.

The results of the study were highly appreciated by American scientists, and V. Guliyev was elected a member of the editorial board of the journal.

Note that the scientist has been studying the grape genome in the country for 30 years. He is the author of fundamental monographs: “Ampelography of Azerbaijan” (Volume II), “Ampelography of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”.
