Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Guided by paragraph 3 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the efficient use of natural resources and the formation of a mineral resource base capable of satisfying the future needs of the main sectors of the country's economy, I decide:

1. To approve the “State program for the geological study of the subsoil and the efficient use of the mineral resource base for 2020-2024”.

2. In accordance with Part 7 of the State Program approved by this Order, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the progress on the implementation of the measures provided for in the Action Plan on the basis of the monitoring and evaluation report submitted to it.

3. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve other issues arising from this Order.

4. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall provide financing for the implementation of measures provided for in the State Program approved by part 1 of this Order.
