Azerbaijan is taking the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as in other parts of the country, important work is being done to protect public health and strengthen the fight against coronavirus infection.

Thus, by the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov dated March 24, 2020, the “Coronavirus Support Fund in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” was created and the treasury account of the fund was opened.

Collectives of state bodies of Nakhchivan, legal entities and individuals continue to transfer funds to the fund.

Nakhchivan Division of ANAS also joined the campaign to assist the Coronavirus Support Fund in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Employees of the division voluntarily donated part of their monthly salary to the fund. Nakhchivan Division transferred a total of 12,543 manat to the fund.
