Zaur Orujov, head of the Laboratory of Hygiene and Restoration of Manuscripts of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli of ANAS, continues his extraordinary vacation by observing the conditions of social isolation and carrying out artistic design of a new mosque in Garabaggal village of Goychay region.
During the quarantine period, Z. Orujov has created an elegant work in this building using the national-historical ornaments of Azerbaijan and beautiful examples of calligraphy. An ornamental composition was created here using floral elements and colors of the Azerbaijani school of painting, the main part of the dome of the mosque is decorated with an octagonal star, which is our national ornament, and the 35th verse of Quran “Nur” is encircled by floral patterns.
