Rasim Ibrahimov, Chief Engineer of the Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Ramazan Garibov, Chief Technologist, as well as employees of Quality Control Department No. 8 visited the Scientific Analytical Testing Laboratory (SATL) of the High Technologies Park of ANAS.

Director of SATL, PhD in Chemistry Arzu Alizadeh acquainted the guests with the activities of the laboratory. He said that the laboratory is accredited in accordance with the standards AZS ISO / IEC "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" to test gas and liquefied petroleum gases, oil and petrochemical products, as well as toxic elements in consumer goods.

The meeting focused on large-scale and promising projects implemented by SOCAR in order to increase the production and export potential of the country's processing industry, to bring the products of the processing complex to high standards. It was noted that one of such projects is the modernization and reconstruction of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, bringing diesel fuel and gasoline produced in Azerbaijan to Euro-5 standards, ensuring the country's fuel and energy security, as well as gasoline and SATL has a great role to play in meeting the growing demand for diesel fuel.

Finally, Chief Engineer Rasim Ibrahimov thanked the staff of the High Technologies Park of ANAS.
