Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

It was decided to establish Azerbaijan Scientific-Ideological Center at the academy during the online meeting of the Presidium of ANAS held on May 8.

The center, which will operate on a public basis, was established to study and promote the centuries-old traditions of national statehood of the Azerbaijani people, the formation and development of the national idea.

President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev was elected head of the Azerbaijan Scientific-Ideological Center, and first vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli was elected deputy.

In addition, the meeting identified and approved the research areas of the center.
