Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Professor Ikram Aghasiyev, Chief Department of History of Azerbaijan-Russia Relations of the Institute of History of ANAS, has attended in the international online conference dedicated to the 101st anniversary of Mustafa Kamal Ataturk's march to Samsun for the National Struggle Movement.

Ikram Aghasiyev delivered a lecture on "The concept of historical science in Turkey during the Ataturk period" at the online event.

The international conference was jointly organized by the Institute of Ataturk Principles and Revolution History of Istanbul University and Istanbul May 29 University. The main speaker of the conference was Dr. Zekeriya Turkmen, an employee of Istanbul May 29 University, and the moderator was Professor Mustafa Budak, Director of the Institute of Ataturk Principles and Revolution History.
