Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An online meeting of the scientific section "Oil and Gas Geology, Geochemistry, Geophysics and Geoecology" of the Institute of Oil and Gas of ANAS was held.

At the meeting, dissertations of second-year graduates of the institute majoring in "Geochemistry", "Geophysical methods of exploration and search for oil and gas fields", "Geology of oil and gas basins", "Marine oil and gas geophysics" were discussed.

Dissertations were presented in the scientific section, covering the following topics: “Geochemical properties of mud volcanic eruption products in the northern part of the Baku archipelago,” “Geological section forecasting based on the interpretation of seismic wave attributes”, “The role of mud volcanoes in the formation of oil and gas fields” and "Oil and gas prospects of the Mesozoic basin in the Khizi region."
