Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS and Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis named after academician A.V. Topchiyev of the Russian Academy of Sciences has signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by ANAS vice-president, director of ICIC academician Dilgam Tagiyev and director of the Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis Professor A. Maksimov.

As part of the relevant document, joint research will be carried out, including the synthesis and study of polymer-mineral sorbents and catalysts based on the theme “Development of new functional materials, sorbents and catalysts based on polymer-mineral hybrid systems”. In addition, cooperation is planned to study the possibility of using polymer-mineral hybrid systems for the development of new composite materials.
