Rusian Ministry of Health has expanded the list of drugs for the treatment of COVID-19 in adults, the drug tables are included in the seventh version of the guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

The list contains drugs such as Favipiravir, Hydroxychloroquine, Mefloquine, Azithromycin, Lopinavir and Ritonavir, which must be used together, recombinant IFN-β1b, recombinant IFN-α and Umifenovir.

Tocilizumab, Sarilumab, Olocizumab, Kanakinumab, Baricitinib, and Tofacitinib were included in the list of drugs for preventive anti-inflammatory therapy.

It is emphasized that "Favipiravir" is contraindicated for children and pregnant women.

A new version of the guidelines was developed based on Russian and foreign clinical experience.
