Deputy Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, PhD in biology Mehraj Abbasov has been on a business trip to Great Britain.

M.Abbasov attended international program “Genotyping by sequencing (GS)” organized at Genome Analysis Centre and deserved COST grant of European Commission.

UK and USA’s outstanding scientists’ lectures on working principle of sequences, de novo, re-sequence, RAD sequence listened at the course.

Researchers leading biotechnology and genome centers of UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Slovakia, Serbia, Portugal and Greece attended the course, discussed genetic identification of animals and plants and other problems.
