Employees of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after acad. Y. Mammadaliyev of ANAS - Zaur Agamaliyev, Chingiz Rasulov, Rena Jafarova, Yusif Yusifov and Fakhraddin Mammadov, have synthesized M-8 engine oil with new antioxidants with a special chemical structure that are resistant to high temperatures. The Eurasian Patent Organization, these products received a Eurasian patent.

Antioxidants were obtained at the Institute of Alkylphenol Chemistry and Technology Laboratory based on local raw materials - alkylimidazolines.

Tests of antioxidants in M-8 engine oil at high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius compared with the known antioxidants used for this purpose, showed that they have effective performance.
