The third lunar eclipse this year will occur on July 5.
According to the information of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasraddin Tusi of ANAS, the penumbra lunar eclipse will begin at 07:07 and will end at 09:52. The maximum eclipse will be observed at 08:31.
This natural phenomenon will be observed in southwest Europe, most of Africa and North America, in South America, in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans, in Antarctica. At the maximum eclipse phase, the moon will appear a little darker than the usual full moon.
In Azerbaijan, this penumbral lunar eclipse will not be observed.
Note that in 2020 there will be a total of 6 eclipses (2 solar and 4 lunar). The last time this amount of eclipses was observed in 2009.
