“Karabakh folk games and square performances in the Turkic context” international scientific conference was held in Tartar by joint organization of Institute of Folklore of ANAS, executive authority of Tartar, “Ashig Shemshir” Cultural Center Public Association and International Fund of Eurasia.

The event was opened by the director of the Institute of Folklore corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov, who spoke about the scientific and social significance and relevance of the conference.

Addressing the meeting, the head of the executive authority of Tartar Mustagim Mammadov stressed the importance of the organization of events dedicated to the study of folklore, ethnography and history of Karabakh.

In the event also reported chairman of the “Ashig Shemshir” Public Association Cultural Center poet and publicist, public figure Ganbar Shamshiroglu, chairman of the International Fund of Eurasia Umud Mirzeyev, Professor Anna Olfield and others who noted the importance of the International Conference.

In conclusion, the scientific reports were presented.
