Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Tokay Huseynov gave an interview to the ATV Qərargah program.

Professor T. Huseynov said that one of the causes of human infection with coronavirus is an unfavorable environmental situation. He recommended taking selenium, which is one of the important elements for strengthening the immune system. The scientist noted that a lack of selenium in the human body can cause the spread of viral diseases.

T. Huseynov also emphasized the need for the use of selenium when restoring a damaged immune system in people who have already had coronavirus.

Recall that at the suggestion of ANAS scientists, the use of selenium is already included in the coronavirus treatment protocol drawn up by the Medical Territorial Unit Management Association.
