University of Houston Research Team developed an air filter capable of capturing and instantly killing coronavirus. Laboratory experiments showed that the filter killed 99.8% of the viral elements at one time. The same filter eliminated 99.9% of anthrax spores.
The filter is based on nickel foam, heated to more than 200 degrees Celsius. Since the coronavirus does not survive the 70-degree Celsius threshold, scientists have relied on a heated filter. The foam is highly breathable, flexible and heats up easily. If you connect the foam to the wires, you can raise the temperature to 250 degrees.
