The collection of the Central Botanical Garden contains medicinal plants that are used in the fight against viruses

In order for the human body to resist bacteria and viruses, including the disease COVID-19, it is necessary that its immune system be strong. For this, you can use medicinal plants rich in nutrients.

The collection of medicinal plants of the Central Botanical Garden of ANAS contains crops widely used in the fight against viruses. These medicinal plants include: Malva sylvestris L. (Forest mallow), Matricaria chamomillae L. (Pharmacy chamomile), Urtica dioica L. (Stinging nettle), Asparagus officinalis L. (Asparagus officinalis), Tussilago farfara L. (Mother and stepmother), Mentha piperitae L. (Peppermint), Achillea millefolium L. (Yarrow) and many others.

Plants, which are used in the treatment and prevention of many diseases, have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, they are especially effective in lung diseases. Pharmacologically active substances in plants (carotenoids, flavonoids, aldehydes, alkaloids, saccharides, polysaccharides, tannins, etc.) have a pharmacological and antitoxic effect on humans and animals.

The composition of plants includes vitamins A, B, C, D, K C, PP, proteins, compounds of calcium, fluorine, folic acid, zinc, iron, copper and selenium. These substances strengthen the immune system and increase the body's resistance to disease.
