The names of Azerbaijani scientists included in the list of "Most influential scientists in the world"

Specialists from the United States and Holland have compiled a list of the "Most Influential Scientists in the World." The names of four Azerbaijani scientists were added to this list.

The list was compiled to assess the activities of scientists around the world, based on the scientific citation index. As a result, the names of the most influential scientists around the world (22 departments and 176 specialties) were published in the journal "Plos biology".

This list includes the names of Azerbaijani scientists who are professors of Turkish universities - teachers of Yildiz Technical University, corresponding member of ANAS Surkhay Akbarov (department - mechanical engineering), Abdulla Sofiev- Suleiman Demirel University (department - construction engineering), Tahmasib Aliyev - Middle East Technical University ( department - physics) and Israfil Huseynov - the University of March 18 in Canakkale.
