Thanks to the pilot project of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan called "Telemedicine", it became possible to conduct remote diagnostics of COVID-19 and other acute respiratory diseases online.

This innovation, linked to the opportunities provided by advanced technology, ranks among many other measures taken to strengthen the fight against coronavirus.

Within the framework of the Telemedicine pilot project of the Ministry of Health, patients have the opportunity to get an appointment with a doctor online via video connections. Thus, remote consultation of patients with coronavirus infection has already begun through the special mobile application Doctor Online. Moreover, patients with no symptoms or with mild symptoms of the disease undergoing treatment at home have already begun to receive online medical advice from home, without visiting hospitals or clinics.
