Scientists at the Institute of Radiation Problems have developed a new electronic module

Scientists of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS (IRP) have developed a new electronic module. As a result of joint work carried out in the framework of cooperation with the Institute of Applied and Experimental Physics (IPEP) of the Czech Technical University, which was established in 2019, and aimed at the development of electronic modules of silicon photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) and their application in international practice, was developed a new module that integrates complex electronic components.

The new MAPD spectrometric module, which has passed preliminary tests at the Laboratory of Innovative Ionizing Beam Receivers IRP, IPEP and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Russia), can be used in space exploration, radiation safety, nuclear physics, high energy physics, medicine, and for educational purposes.
