Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The National Cancer Center (REC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS are conducting joint fundamental and clinical research on lung carcinoma. As a result of successful research at the Institute of Biophysics, a joint Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Oncology was established with REC. Research is being conducted both on the non-invasive diagnosis of lung carcinoma and on the identification of important factors that distinguish healthy human tissues from lung carcinoma.
