Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

According to clause 1.5 of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 17, 2017 No. 3303 "On amendments to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 3, 2010 No. 885" On the establishment of the Open Joint Stock Company "Azercosmos", the Council on Space Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established, "Regulations on the Council for Space Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "Composition of the Council for Space Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan" were approved.

According to the resolution, the Council included the Minister of Economy, Minister of Emergency Situations, Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Rector of the National Aviation Academy, Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, President of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC. Chairman of Azerkosmos OJSC, Director General of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan and a consultant to the National Aviation Academy on aerospace issues.
