Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

As the entire world community knows, on the morning of September 27, the Armenian armed forces fired at Azerbaijani settlements and military positions using various types of weapons, including heavy artillery, from several directions. In response to the provocations of the enemy, by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the glorious Azerbaijani army launched a counteroffensive along the entire line of contact.

Addressing the people on the same day, the head of our state said that the Azerbaijani state, the Azerbaijani people, the glorious Azerbaijani army will resolutely continue the struggle for the liberation of our occupied lands. The people of Azerbaijan will never accept the fact of the occupation of their lands.

Scientific research institutions of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan objectively cover the counter-offensive operations of our National Army to liberate the lands occupied by Armenians, as well as the just struggle of our country in the leading regional and world scientific and information organizations, fully support a consistent and purposeful policy conducted by Mr. President to familiarize the world community with the true face of our hated enemy, and they are doing everything possible to protect our national interests and ensure our territorial integrity, both at the front and in the rear.
