China, using a CZ-2C (Long March-2C) launch vehicle, launched the seventh group of Yaogan-30 Earth remote sensing satellites into orbit. This was announced on Tuesday by the Xinhua news agency.
According to him, the launch was made from the Xichang cosmodrome (Sichuan province, South-West China) on Monday at 23:19 local time (18:19 Moscow time). The satellites have successfully entered their assigned orbits. Their number has not been specified. As the agency notes, they will be used for studies of the earth's electromagnetic field and technical tests.
