Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after academician Ziya Bunyadov, corresponding member of ANAS Shahin Mustafaev visited Moscow, Russia.

During the visit, Azerbaijani scientist met with Professor VBelokrenitski, deputy director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

They exchanged views on issues - expansion of cooperation between the two academic institutions, joint research projects, conferences and so on. Speaking on an international young orientalists conference, held last year in Baki, VBelokrenitski noted high level of organization of the event. Russian scientist emphasized cooperation among institutions, especially in the field of Turkic, Iranian and Arabic Studies.

Shahin Mustafaev also met with the representatives of Turkey department of the Institute of Oriental Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences and got acquainted with the Institute's publications.
