The prestige of Azerbaijani seismologists is growing in the world. In recent years, a number of prestigious scientific journals around the world, international websites containing scientific works, as well as world scientists in their articles refer to the works of Azerbaijani seismologists.

It should be noted that the articles posted on the international website Academia.edu refer to the articles of the Director General of the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Academy, corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli 160 times.

Another international website, “Google scholar”, cited Yetirmishli's articles 485 times. Also, in the first days of 2021, “Google scholar”works were cited 18 times.
