Researchers at the University of Sussex in the UK have developed a prototype of a microchip that increases the use of graphene.
Although the microchip created by scientists is made of graphene, it can be replaced by other materials that are sensitive to similar structure and modification. The production uses a "nano-origami" style, which involves the collection of raw materials, which results in a shape that is many times smaller than previously thought. Thanks to the innovation, graphene chips can be not only significantly smaller than ordinary chips, but also faster.
The discovery, according to researchers at the University of Sussex, will soon find use in computers or smartphones, which will greatly facilitate the development of the electronics and "IT" industries.
