Winners of the paper competition were awarded at ANAS Institute of Erosion and Irrigation. Competition has been organized in connection with prof. Kazim Alakbarov 105th anniversary.

Director of the institute PhD in agrarian science Seymur Safarli provided information about merits of Kazim Alakbarov who chaired to Erosion department for 20 years, in the fields of soil elm and soil erosion.

Reporting in the event, chairman of ANAS Young Scientist and Specialists’ Council Famin Salmanov underpinned active participation of the youth in the competitions.

Special commission has been created for estimation of the papers submitted to the competition, noted chairman of the Young Scientist and Specialists’ Council of the institute, PhD in agrarian sciences Izzet Talibov.

Monitoring officer of Young Scientist and Specialists’ Council, PhD in chemistry Afsun Sujayev stated that, monitoring was held with the goal to get acquainted with conditions created in the institutions for young people, their problems, and suggestions to solve them.

Later on, papers submitted to the competition have been estimated. PhD students of the institute Gunay Mammadova was deserved to the 1st place, Teymur Hajiyev to the 2nd, and PhD in agrarian sciences Fuad Salimov to the 3rd place. Winners awarded with diplomas.

Finally, PhD in agrarian sciences Izzet Talibov, PhD students Nurida Nabiyeva and Anar Muzeferrov were awarded with Promotional certificates by the director of the institute for their scientific-social activity in 2014.
