Scientists from the National Research University of Technology and their Italian colleagues have developed a new type of technology to power electronic devices from the sun and household light sources.
According to the authors, photo elements will be able to power Internet devices, fitness trackers, smart watches, headphones.
Researchers note that the market for expandable wireless devices and sensors requires a low-power power supply. One solution is energy batteries that can be charged from the light of ordinary room lamps. Specialists are currently working to make the new technology fully operational.
