Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Guba Regional Scientific Center of ANAS will be established in Guba city. Decision about was made in an assembly of the Presidium of ANAS.

Establishment of ANAS Guba Regional Center has emerged from necessity of strengthening research activities in the northern region of the country, using a wide range of scientific and technical capacity to carry out the necessary level of fundamental and applied research, as well making more favorable conditions for research history, archeology, ethnography and natural resources of the northern region.

PhD in agrarian sciences Teyyub Shukurov has been defined acting director of the center.

Oversight over decision was assigned to vice-president of ANAS acad. Ibrahim Guliyev.
