Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Azerbaijan Carpet Museum held “National heritage-2015” award ceremony sponsored by AR Ministry of Culture and Tourism”. Event was dedicated to International monuments and Historical must sees.

“National heritage-2015” award ceremony was held in 3 nominations. Gakh District Executive Power for nomination of "For merits in preservation, restoration and usage of the monuments of cultural heritage”,  “Yol” journal for nomination of “For merits in promotion of Azerbaijan literary heritage”,  director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Dr. History, prof. Maisa Rahimova for nomination of  “For merits in investigation  of Azerbaijan  literary heritage” have been awarded.

In the event, researchers who had merits in investigation of Azerbaijan material heritage were donated honorary diplomas and monetary prizes of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Employee of the above mentioned institute, chief of Sheki archeology expedition Nasib Mukhtarov was among the awarded researchers as well.
