Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Within the framework of scientific cooperation among Institute of Botany, Botanical Garden and BerlinBotanical Museum (Germany), leading expert in BBBM Dr. Gerald Parolly, young PhD student of the Institute of Botany continuing his education at the very organization Tural Gasimov and head of Embryophyte department of the institute PhD in Biology Vugar Karimov conducted floristic and bryologic researches in some regions of Azerbaijan. During field researches held in Gobustan, Ganja, Gadabay, Tovuz, Gazax, Sheki, Gabala, Khizi, Altiaghaj and Guba territories, patterns were collected due to investigating bryophyte of Azerbaijan flora at modern level.

Collected patterns will be determined by means of modern methods in BBBM and herbarium patterns will be stored in Herbarium collections of both organizations.
