Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

5th Congress of Caucasus Universities Union (CCUU) was held in Tabriz city, Iran Islamic Republic, on May 19.

Congress brought together rectors of universities operating in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia and Cyprus , in addition heads, scholars and researchers of other leading educational ventures.

During the event award ceremony of CCUU was held. Ramazan Korkmaz, chairman of the Union, rector of Turkish Ardahan University, spoke about the importance of the works written by state adviser of the Republic of Azerbaijan for multinational, multicultural and religious affairs, acad. Kamal Abdullayev. Then, presented “Prize for academic activity”  to Kamal Abdulayev.

Expressing his gratitude for the award, Mr. Abdullayev conveyed Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev's greetings to the participants of the congress.
