Thomson Reuters’s report for 2014 declared

"Thomson Reuters' annual report for the year of 2014 has been announced. This report reflects updates of the previous period, which are in the agency's list, journals included and removed from the list, and data on the dynamics of their impact factors. According to the agency's latest report, impact factor of the "Applied and Computational Mathematics" international scientific journal published in Azerbaijan was equal to 0.45.

According to Academician Fikrat Aliyev this scientific journal has posted on "Thomson Reuters’s" expanded list in 2008 as the first and only scientific publication in science history of Azerbaijan.

33 issues of the journal have been published up today, which covered 400 articles representing 40 countries around the world. High-qualitative and substantiated articles related in a variety of spheres of applied and computational mathematics are published in the journal. During 14 years of publication, journal conducted exchanges via more than 200 scientific institutions from 45 countries.

"Applied and Computational Mathematics" journal was founded by Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Baku State University (TR SRI) in 2002. The honorary editor of the journal is professor at the University of Illinois Tamer Bashar, editors-in-chief - Ali Abbasov, Fikrat Aliyev, professor at the Institute of Mechanics of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences Vladimir Larin, leading editor – chief department at TR SRI, Dr. Physics-math Yusif Gasimov, chief executive - scientific secretary of the institute PhD in physics-math Nargiz Safarova. The journal’s editorial staff is represented by 25 celebrate scientists from 13 countries around the world.
