Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

At the meeting of ANAS Presidium was decided the creation of the official website of the channel of ANAS "Elm TV" which is the first scientific internet TV in Azerbaijan.

Acting about 2 years the internet TV is currently broadcasted on the portal www.science.gov.az.

Head of the "Elm TV" Khatira Dzhabbarzadeh reported that, the launch of the network television is planned in the next months. As she said, currently coming to the end works on the creation of the website.

Head of TV reported that, created by specialists of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, based on international experience web TV channel which includes various sections and rich video gallery website will function under the domain name elmtv.az.

Noting that television "Elm" is the only source of visual source which reflects the activities of institutions and organizations of ANAS, Khatira Dzhabbarzadeh stressed that, the main aim is to popularize science, bring to the public the scientific achievements, as well as existing problems.

She said that, the website will post videos reflecting the life and work of domestic scientists and prominent scientists who have made a significant contribution to world science, including videos about the innovations taking place in the world.
