Chief of Laboratory “Oxidation with hydrogen peroxide by nano-carbon catalysts” at Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS, Prof. Eldar Zeynalov was on a scientific trip to University of Haddersfild in United Kingdom, supported by Science Development Foundation under AR President and at the invitation of University.

Aim was to carry out international grant project of “Investigating the alicyclic activity of variable catalysts of nano-TiO2 for extracting complex esters of carboxylic acids”, and to study coordination ties of scientific activity of INTERLABCAT, international laboratory which newly established to the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry.

During mission Prof. Eldar Zeynalov held several meetings with staff and employees of the University of Haddersfild, got closely acquainted with work of MIAMI (Microscope and Ion for Materials Investigations) and MR (Materials Research).

Azerbaijani scientist delivered a lecture on “Impact of carbon nanotubes on the processes of aerobic oxidation of model oil hydrocarbons” and responded seminar attendees’ questions.
