The humanoid robots market will grow 14-fold in the next five years, and its volume will reach at least 24 billion yen (about $ 200 million at the current exchange rate). According to the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri, this forecast was made by the research company Fuji Keizai.
Currently, anthropomorphic robots are being used primarily for promotional purposes to attract more customers in a particular store, hotel, or even a bank. But some day machines will replace people in certain professions.
According to many Japanese analysts, in the coming years, almost all professions will be divided conditionally into two types: those that can be done by robots and those that cannot be done without a man.
The first category, in their opinion, includes employees of information stands in shops and social facilities, as well cashiers, house managers and those caring for the elderly.
And the second category includes designers, musicians, decorators, doctors, teachers, business consultants, bartenders, tour guides and artists.
