Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS is expanding its activities in relation to the EU Program "Horizon 2020" (2014-2020 years) for Research and Innovation. The program, which is coordinated by ANAS Presidium Administration, Department of International Relations enables to create research opportunities for scientists and gain international experience.

On February 24, head of the Division for Relations with the Academic Institutions of Foreign Countries of the mentioned Department Bunyamin Seyidov met with the representative of the International Office of the University of Siegen in Germany, Professor Ulrich Eberhard. The meeting discussed the possibility of cooperation in the framework of the "Horizon 2020" Program and agreed on involving researchers from ANAS.

Note that the University of Siegen, representing Germany has the right to be the project coordinator in this program as a member country of the European Union.

Ulrich Eberhard noted his special interest to Azerbaijan in international relations of the university and expressed his willingness to cooperate with ANAS in this area.
