Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A presentation ceremony took place for the book “The Poetic World of Leyla Aliyeva” by Salida Sharifova, Doctor of Philological Sciences and chief researcher at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS.

The event, held at the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, was attended by the leadership of ANAS, staff of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, representatives of science and culture, media members, and others.

At the event, moderated by Asad Jahangir, President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli delivered the opening speech. He highly praised the merits of the book and the author’s professionalism, emphasizing that the monograph is a significant contribution to the field of literary studies.

Academician Nizami Jafarov and Professors Nadir Mammadli, Vugar Ahmad, Asif Rustamli, Yagub Babayev, Gular Abdullabeyli, and Almaz Ulvi spoke about the importance of the publication.

Among the poets and writers, Salim Babullaoghlu, Huseynbala Miralamov, Adil Jamil, Yusif Nagmakar, Gulamail Murad, Manzar Niyarlı, Nazila Gultaj, Kamala Abiyeva, Nushaba Mammadli, and Khalida Nuray characterized the author’s book as another valuable service to Azerbaijani literature.

At the end of the event, the author, Salida Sharifova expressed her gratitude to the organizers and attendees.
