Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine signed an agreement of cooperation.

Mutual coordination of scientific and technical research, joint research activities, scientific information, exchange of scientific periodicals and materials are of special importance in the practice of ANAS institutes and organizations in an international cooperation. Here includes the scientific missions of experts, innovative technology sharing, international and regional organizations to support programs related to science and technology.

Cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan is scientists in the field of mathematics and mechanics is carried out in this direction. Last year, participation of the delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at the MADEA-7 international conference, held by Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS has lead to intensifying of these relations.

During the conference, the agreement between director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics Professor Misir Mardanov and Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Academician Anatoly Samoylenko resulted in treaty between institutions in February of current year.

Under cooperation is intended development and implementation of joint educational programs, exchange of personnel and experience.

Joint researches and gained experience in the spheres of differential equations, functional analysis, mathematical and numerical analysis, functions theory, mathematical physics equations, probability theory and topology, gas and solid matter mechanics will pave the way for cooperation between the two countries, the purchase of new scientific results, and make enable the implementation of innovative ideas.
