According to Deputy Director of ANAS Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, PhD in Physics Khidir Mikayilov, lunar eclipse will begin at 13:42, at 15:48 will be in the maximum phase and finish at 17:54. This process can not be seen with the naked eye.
The eclipse will occur over the Pacific Ocean, Asia, Australia, South America, Mexico and Antarctica.
Kh.Mikayilov noted that, the next lunar eclipse will realize on 16 September. It will begin at 21:57, reached its maximum phase at 23:55 and finish at 01:54.
The scientist has reported that this natural phenomenon will have character of a penumbral lunar eclipse. Therefore, it will be partially possible to observe it from Azerbaijan.
