Associate of the Spain's University of Alicante Jose Joaquin Rodes Roca visited Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasiraddin Tusi.

Note that, Spanish scientist is an astronomer and works in the sphere of X-ray binary stars. Currently he runs lecture and lab trainings on “Optics” section of physics at the biology faculty of Baku State University relied on TEMPO - ERASMUS MUNDUS Friendly Programme for a month.

Guest got closely acquainted with telescopes of the observatory, laboratory equipment and working principles, held several meetings. Meanwhile, trends of the future collaboration were discussed.

Level of conducted research work in the observatory, applied research methods and latest renovation and construction works made warm impression on guest.
