Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

As you know, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 18, 2016 "On holding the 90th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress" by National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan was tasked to develop and implement a plan of events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Congress.

Issues related to the event were discussed on April 20 in a meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

In his speech, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted on significance of carrying out the anniversary of first Turkological Congress as a significant event, which entered the history.

Prepared by ANAS and other state organizations Action Plan was presented and approved by Presidium. According to the decree of the Presidium persons were given relevant instructions responsible for implementation of the plan.
